Worldwide Photowalk – Last Set

I didn’t take too many pics at Munsinger as the heat from the son, done wore me right out. I plan to go there again some other day when I have it in me again :)! Here are a few I took though! At the end of the walk we met at Coffee Bean for a treat (hmmm, a nice cold smoothie for me thank you very much!) and a visit with the other walkers to share our thougths on the time walking and taking photos. I really had a great time and can’t wait to do something like that again!!!

Quarry Park in St. Cloud, MN

It was the most perfect day to go to the Quarry on Monday. I headed there with the kids to meet Alyssa and her two boys. We had a great, great time and I took a million pictures as usual. Here are just a few and I will post more in the coming days :)!

Worldwide Photowalk

On Saturday, July 24th we attended the Worldwide Photowalk. It was a beautiful, beautiful day!!!

Here was the description of the walk that was planned and  that I posted on the St. Cloud spot on the site:

The walk will start at the front of the Atwood Center bldg (178th 6th St. S.) on the SCSU campus. Feel free to park across from the Atwood Building in the Garvey Parking lot. From there we will walk throughout the SCSU campus, then cross over University Bridge and walk through Munsinger Gardens. The SCSU campus affords for a great amount of architectural photo opportunities with the mix of newer buildings and historic as well. There are also plenty of landscape shots near the river. By walking across the bridge and over to Munsinger Gardens there will be an additional opportunity to capture the beauty of a well known St. Cloud landmark. The previous year we walked the Downtown St. Cloud area, so we were hoping to offer another St. Cloud area to photograph.

Our final destination will bring us to the The Corner Bean Coffee Shop attached to the University Crossings Bookstore at the intersection of 9th Ave and University Dr. S. (927 9th Ave, Saint Cloud, MN 56301).

It worked out just as we planned. I loved that everyone that took pictures took completely different shots…photography is so cool that way!
