Sunday...what else is there to say but high winds and brrrrrr! Glad to stay inside and snap this!

I made a simple video of the wind that same day. It is longer than it needs to be, but I figured it couldn't hurt to remember this especially blustery day. I was so glad to hide out inside that afternoon and just watch it from the warmth of my home.

Awww, look at this little honey! Loved doing her Six Month Old photo shoot on Saturday. There were a lot of moments where she didn't share her little smiling face, so I was thankful to get home and see her happy little face shining back at me on my computer screen.

Not only is Dalton a normal busy two year old, but he is also a protective and loving older brother. He stops everything to play with her and watches over her whenever he can. It is super sweet!

It must be a two year old thing. Little Dalton watched Clarisse so carefully, right up close, while she worked on a loom band project. Clarisse loves the little ones and knows just how to let them help too so they feel included. Love her!

Wednesday swim day. The light has been difficult in the pool area, especially during the winter season, but I still love catching the kids having such a great time.

Gotta love this special two year old. She was directing Clarisse how to she wanted her princess to look. She started off a little further away and kept getting closer and closer and closer. We love spending time with this little girl (and her cute little brother too)!

We celebrated Martin Luther King Day with a day trip out to visit our friends out in Sunburg. My girl was especially fond of playing with her friend and their furry friends. Although it ended up more cold as the day carried on so they didn't end up spending too much time outside. I happily stayed cozy inside with the ladies for a cup of tea and fellowship.

If anyone knows Minsan and I, we are all about finding fantastic deals on used and new things. I was at a second hand store in Coon Rapids checking out some vintage cameras (we love collecting them) and actually found a really amazing deal on a flute. You may wonder why a flute would catch my eye. Well, it was a fantastic price and as we have found out from Clarisse, she has actually always wanted to learn to play it. Who knew?! Now just to find her a teacher to help her along that journey. It is one of the few instruments that Minsan is unable to teach her...

After I returned from a trip to town, the boys were found playing outside enjoying the wonderful winter snow. I love how kids can love the great outdoors at any temp!

Yesterday was pretty cold with the 30mph whipping winds, but being inside all cozy and warm was perfect. I saw this verse on someone's wall a few days ago and thought it would be perfect here. It is such a special thing to walk in His ways and hear His voice so close. Love, love, love!

I spent a lot of time in my car on Wednesday and while I was waiting for a turn I snapped this shot of a train heading away from me. I still find it funny to see an engine at the beginning and the end of a long train.

"R" Family Photo Shoot - Cold Spring Area Photographer

Another great session from the November season. The day we planned to shoot ended up being a  very cold day...the weather was not cooperating. So, to make it work we used the video booth at my church. They were soooo kind to let me use it and it worked really well. Know that while I loved how great this went, I did truly missed shooting the entire time outside. Little kids outside...can it get any better?! This is an amazing family that does missions work on campus. They have two sweet little guys and their daughter was due within the month. Wonderful, wonderful! Thanks "R" family for letting me be a part of this special time in your life!

Loved meeting this awesome little one year old today while doing his photo shoot. He is a really special little guy and to make it even sweeter, he was born on the same day as my own son Duncan's birthday.

"F" Family Sneak Peak

A quick sneak peak for wonderful family celebrating fifty years of marriage for their parents. They were a lot of fun and very adventurous to jump out in 15 degree weather and 20 mph winds. We amazingly tucked into some pine trees and were able to capture some great shots. Love winter time shooting (when it isn't -22 degrees out). :) Thanks for letting me capture your amazing family.
