Project 365
This
is my favorite souvenir from when we were in China. Our guide took us
to a little tea shop that the locals go to. We sampled some tea and were
able to buy some tea pots for a lot less than the typical souvenir
shops.I can't wait to actually start making tea from it, been a little
distracted these days.

It
was so great to get out and go for a walk with the kids. It was a
little bumpy ride in some spots because of the snow, but for the most
part the path was clear...it is never clear in January. We were happy to
take advantage of it.

morning I took pictures of Relevant Life Church's service and
children's classes.The bonus for me was getting a chance to be there
when my dear friend Nichole was leading worship for her first time. She
did an amazing job!

Fun to have a little visit from this sweet heart today. Fun to have the little wooden kitchen that Chip made Clarisse thirteen years ago, back in use with Londyn and the little girl visitors that come through our doors.

picture of my daughter taking a picture...too cliche? Well, it is
pretty fun to have my daughter loving learning how to take photos too
and of our most favorite model.

Loved dining at Chick Fil A for my very first time on Wednesday. I had my amazing niece Andrea share with me her favorite meal to order so I could also enjoy it the way she did. She was spot on, such a good choice of foods...and I can't wait to try it again! Yum! Allison, you are next, where am I going next and what is your favorite menu item so I can also experience your favorite foods. Ali, after that, your turn. Please share your favorite place and meal I should order!

This
is a picture of irony. She looks all happy and ready for bed. While
that is true when I took this picture, she actually gets pretty sad
about sleeping. She does go to sleep eventually, but she has yet to find
that true peace and calm about drifting off to sleep. Still praying she
comes to terms with it.

Duncan
was working on an art project for school about shading. Later on he was
enjoying the project so much that he decide to make an extra Mobi robot
in his spare time.

Since
her cast has been off Londyn has returned to her normal happy, smiley,
playful self that we had all REALLY missed. She still has her two year
old moments, but the smiles far outweigh those times. We are so
thankful!

Just
woke up from her 2 hour long nap with puffy eyes and bed head. She
never naps that long, maybe it is a new thing, we can only hope. She
woke up happy too. Although that is more the new part of life for us
since she has been out of her cast. She smiles, she plays by herself,
she giggles. Yep, she is altogether like a new little person. We really
missed her smiles and independence...so did she!

Today
we celebrated Duncan's 12th birthday. I really can't believe my boy is
twelve already. Kids grow up way tooooo fast!!! Love you boy!

Out
in the country, near Regal, is this awesome old building. I have shot
this basement before, but now the ceiling is coming down. I love the
slow progression of things falling apart. I wonder what it will look
like next year.
