I was happy to be able to get out and shoot some great spring pictures before the weather cooled off and started raining again. I quickly remembered that we didn't need the green grass to make a great picture. Urban photography is as fun as running in a field sometimes.

Aleythia was showing me her house on moving day. She looks like she fits in perfectly with her new home. Many colored chalk sidewalks in her future I am sure. Gonna miss seeing this little girl each week.

Minsan was just giving ye ole motorcycle a rinse off and polish before a couple of guys look at it this weekend. If all goes well, he may just have it sold before it is over. Praying for good results and being that much closer to bringing our baby home!

There was a brief moment while Amber and I were cleaning their new house that these little people were quietly watching a movie. I was so excited to see that perfect light cascading over their sweet little beings. Love, love, love them!

Experimenting with a Panorama

I experimented doing a long panorama of a beautiful cloud scene from yesterday. The top picture was all that I could get in my shot with my 24mm lens on a full frame camera. But I knew that it felt like it was missing the "whole" cloud story, so I took another 15 pictures to see if I could get in a more detailed view. I used the Microsoft software called ICE or Image Composition Editor. I tried using Photoshop to stitch all my shots together, but with all the horse power that Photoshop uses to do this kind of shot, it was taking too long. My hubby has used ICE for his panoramas and when he processes Brenizer shots, so I thought I would use that instead. WAY faster as far as processing the photo so faster gratification :). So, the question is, which one do you like better?

What does a photographer do on a wonderfully snowy day? Yep, she grabs her camera, a cute girl, finds a great location and snaps some snowfall shots. Why waste a good snow that is going to only last a few days!
