In the Blink of an Eye - December 2013

The above picture is my 365th picture of this year. I have officially completed 3 full years of taking a picture each and every day. This last shot is just for fun. The book that this vintage camera on is Minsan's grandma Shirley's book called Domestic Science Principles and Application. It is a well used book that used to teach woman back in the day on how to be an amazing domestic diva . I probably have some things I could learn from it, lol! The vintage camera is one that we acquired from Craigslist a few months ago. It was from a woman who has passed away a few years ago and was a professional photographer starting back in the 1970's. Interestingly enough today we realized that there was a roll of film left in it when we bought it. I have plans to bring it in to be developed...I can't wait to see what she last took pictures of with it. Not sure that they will even turn out since the camera hasn't been used in years, but I am very curious if there is anything. So, in any case, Happy New Year all!

Final Shoot of the Year, Maybe

Or so I thought. I had a get opportunity to join this family for a quick photo shoot to capture them all together while they were all home for the holidays. It was such an honor to join them and capture thier special time together.I did end up having a few more shoots added on after this one though after I typed it up, so it did lose the final shoot status, lol. It is so great to have a chance to have family photos taken when everyone is already together. I love seeing all the happy, cozy, family loving all pouring out when they are together. What a blessings to be a part of photographing love!

Christmas Time

I love Christmas trees and ornaments and lights. They please me and give our home such a peacefulness. Love it! I also now love that my kids love it. So much fun!
