S&S’s Wedding

I was asked to take pictures for a small wedding at the Stearns County Courthouse last month. I was really excited to take the pictures and thought that it was a smashing idea to have someone take pictures during their ceremony, no matter how small. The building is quite spectacular and quite dark at the same time. There are some light fixtures here and there, but nothing that gave enough light to be perfect. My motto, you don’t always get what you want. So I took the best pictures I could for them in spite of the dark conditions. In the end, I would have to say that I proved their wedding happened with the pictures I took. After they were married we ran out into the freezing cold and snapped a few shots of the newly married couple. I was so excited to have some much better natural light to work with. Whew! She had to be freezing, but smiled like it was the sunniest, best day of her life. Love!

They were seriously so happy together and smiling and laughing the whole time. It was really fun to take their pictures!
