Love, Love, Love Sun Flare Pics!

Up in Bayfield, WI there was a beautiful sunset that was magical to play with. Earlier this summer someone from the Central Minnesota Camera Club gave us the tips on how to make a sun flare on purpose. The tip worked perfectly! The first step is to bump up your fstop up as high as you can. On these shots I had it up to f/22. Then adjust the shutter so that it is still light enough to see your shot. When you are playing with a high fstop and the sun, you might need a few test shots to find the perfect shutter speed and then after that enjoy shooting from different perspectives to create many different looks. So fun!
